Avbrief Weather Services

Avbrief provides all the weather information needed for flight planning. 

TAFs and METARs

The Met Office needs a free registration first, before you can log in.
Once you have that, their services are available from their index page.

When you log in you can get TAFs, METARs and Rainfall Radar animation. 

General UK Weather and Rainfall

Get the Manston weather from the Kent International Airport web site. 

See the weather at Sheerness from the Isle of Sheppey Sailing Club site. 

Good overall weather and forecasts can be found at Net-Weather. Their Lightning Page is useful and well presented. 

The xcweather.co.uk site has the best weather presentation I have seen, Try it!

The ukga.com site has great weather links and lots of other useful information. 

The BBC's weather page gives a good overview of weather and has many links.

The Rainfall animation from the BBC covering the UK is a good alternative to the Avbrief animation.

European Weather

The Aerosport Luxembourg weather page has excellent European weather links. I recommend you start here.

A useful three day surface pressure animation from the Met Office, including the UK.

The Weather Underground gives global weather but this page links to the French weather.
